About a year ago, TJ Dietsch and I had a philosophical superhero debate. While I maintained that the Hulk could defeat anyone in the entire Marvel Universe, TJ conversely insisted that everyone in the 616 could take down the Hulk. TJ drew up a few doodles of how he thought both Gambit and Jubilee could beat the angry green giant, but I never retaliated. Here’s my first drawn rebuttal.

All Day Pizza Buffet: Fight!
Yesterday, I was informed by Josh Wigler (aka J.D. Wigglesmith aka Jarsh Wiggleheimer) that he and Kevin Mahadeo (aka Kevin Mahoodoo: Master of Voodoo) were discussing who would win in a fight: The two of them or me. The stipulations, as they were explained to me, were that Josh would be armed with a pistol and Kevin would have a knife. I would be between the two of them, unarmed. Great Comic Quotes: Fury’s Epitaph

Get your ‘Goats’
I recently read Goats: Infinite Typewriters by Jonathan Rosenberg, a collection of his webcomic you can find at Goats.com. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire read and it’s lovely mix of high concept discussion and low brow ridiculousness, more so than I could describe in the brief post I imagined this being—the simple point is, whether I yammer on about it or not, you should read it. Rosenberg does an amazing job of using shorter syndicated style strips to weave intricate plot lines and running jokes into an amazingly satisfying read that really makes you feel as though you’ve earned every bit of enjoyment.
