I’ve seen both of those. At least I can redeem myself knowing “10 Things I Hate About You” was an awkward interpretation of Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew.”
I’d go with 80′s teen movies, personally. I just read an article in Geek Monthly about a documentary getting made called “Don’t You Forget About Me” which is about trying to find and interview John Hughes. No THAT man could make a great teen comedy.
I love ’90s Teen Movies, deeply! Perhaps being a teen in the ’90s helped, but that is irrelevant! I have quite a few theories on ’90s Teen Movies that I’ll likely explain via comic strip, so I’ll just say “stay tuned” for now, but rest assured John Hughes will be addressed.
